Warranty Returns

At Caribee USA we pride ourselves on producing the best and most innovative products available, which are made to a high standard using the highest quality and latest materials available. If however something goes wrong with your Caribee USA product we are more than willing to take a look at it and if it's a valid claim, we replace it.

Caribee USA Warranty:

All Caribee USA products are guaranteed to be free of "manufacturing faults" in both workmanship and materials for 3 years from the date of purchase. 

This warranty does not include normal wear and tear, misuse, improper care or damage by a common carrier (ie: airlines) or third parties to our products. The Caribee USA warranty is not an International warranty and is only valid in the original country of purchase to the original purchaser. Our warranty is not transferable.

If damage has occurred to your bag whilet travelling with an airline - ALWAYS REPORT DAMAGE TO THE AIRLINE BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE AIRPORT as this is covered by the airline and is NOT a manufacturing fault. (refer below) 

Please note, no claim will be considered without proof of purchase.

Caribee USA warranty excludes damage as a result of:

  • Reasonable or excessive wear and tear;
  • Damage as the result of mishandling/neglect by AIRLINES or third parties or transport; (Read more)
  • Heat, flame, or the natural elements;
  • Failure to adhere to care instructions;

The Caribee USA warranty does not cover:

  • Clips, Buckles, Tri-glides, D-Rings, Zipper etc OR in the case of furniture a broken ABS bracket. If these parts are broken during use we may be able to send you replacement parts (dependent on availability).

  • Airline damage –When travelling by air, check your bag for damage at the baggage carousel. If your Caribee USA product was damaged by the airline, you must file a claim with the airline before leaving the airport. Damage caused by an airline is not covered by the Caribee  USA warranty issue and should be resolved directly with the airline.​

If your product has a manufacturing fault, send us an email to customerservice@talusproducts.com along with details of the issue and ideally some photos to show the issue in question. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Change of Mind Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us customerservice@talusproducts.com with a copy of your receipt, a photo showing the problem, a brief description and a return address. If a product needs to be returned, a Return Authorization Number(RA#) will be issued. If not, a replacment will be sent right out.

Shipping
Before returning any product to Caribee USA /Talus Corp., you must email us at customerservice@talusproducts.com to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Once an RA# has been issued, mail your product to: Talus Corp. Attn: Caribbe US 299 Presumpscot St, Portland, ME 04103, USA  

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
